Kadzo is part of the Pendo Doll Collection
Pendo means love in Swahili
The name Kadzo means “beautiful girl” in Swahili. Kadzo lives in a small village on the coast of Kenya. She loves to sing, tell stories, and make chapati (flatbread). Kadzo dreams of becoming a fashion designer.
Kadzo is wearing a limited-edition wrap dress made in partnership with Tea Collection for their Kenya-inspired line.
Perfectly imperfect, each doll has been sewn by hand and embroidered by Elimu graduates in Malindi, Kenya at our Artisan Maker Space.
Your donation helps fund scholarships, room and board, supplies, and a sewing machine for young women in the Elimu Girls program.
